A little more about this yarn and knitting needle pendant necklace…

This is made from resin and a pre-cut wood form. The yarn ball and knitting needles is hand cast from a mold that I made myself. Once the resin is cured and it’s removed from the mold, I hand paint the yarn and knitting needles. Keep in mind that the ball of yarn with the needles is about 1/2 inch long so it’s tiny and finicky work (just how I like it). Once painted I place it on the wooden circle and coat the whole thing with numerous coats of resin, sealing the entire piece. I add the jewelry finds and cordage. And ta da! The knitting necklace is finished.

Please note that because this is a handmade product, the painting may vary from piece to piece, the wood colour may also vary. And though I try to drill the hole and place the yarn ball and knitting needle casting in the same position, it may also look a bit different from piece to piece.

The necklaces have a faux black leather cord and it fastens with a silver tone clasp.
