I found the most awesome light weight yarn on the discontinued/clearance shelf and absolutely had to have it. I decided that it would make a beautiful pair of fingerless gloves and so these beauties were born! These fingerless gloves are made to order when you order them. I can make them in either the green or blue striped version. Like I mentioned, I bought the yarn on clearance and only have so much left. Once the yarn is gone, it's gone, so order your pair now! I can't get this yarn ever again. To give you an idea of how they fit, I wear a medium sized rubber glove. The mittens fit me perfectly and are a medium. You can order the mitts in either a small, medium or large size. These are knitted in the round on double pointed needles which makes them seamless! No scratchy seams to rub on your hands. Screens vary and not much I can do about it. The red flower is more of a burgundy just so you know. I had a hard time getting the colour to turn out correct in the photos. I've definitely fallen in love with this owl motif and I've been adding it to all sorts of my work lately. This particular version is now a beautiful pair of fingerless mitts or gloves. I feel like I should call them fingerless glovelettes but I'm fairly sure that isn't a word. These fingerless gloves are made to order when you order them. I can make them in any colour you wish, with black or rainbow eyes (the rainbow eyes are on the black gloves) and they can be small, medium or large. To give you an idea of how they fit, I wear a medium sized rubber glove. The grey and black mittens fit me perfectly and are a medium (yes, those are my hands in the video and photos). The beige mittens are a small and give a bit more of a snug/smaller fit. You may prefer that feel and look to a more sized fit. The red mittens are large and are too sloppy to take a good photo. These are knitted in the round on double pointed needles which makes them seamless! No scratchy seams to rub on your hands. Ever. This isn’t your typical anti-slip nose pad. It’s better! Just like typical nose pads for glasses, Sir Stanley’s Spectacle Sticks can be applied to all types of plastic frames – sunglass, prescription glasses, and more! Created when ordered, this hand poured, all-natural product is blended with care and wrapped with a label. Simply peel the label off like a crayon as you need to expose more wax. No more throwing away wasteful plastic tubing! This is a more environmentally friendly option. And no more pesky nose pads to continually buy and replace. The sticks come in bundles of 3. One for home, one for the office, and one that will inevitably be “borrowed” by your fellow glasses wearer. Each wax stick has a minimum of 4 grams (0.14 oz) of wax. I literally have a bag of assorted flowers and leaves I've made. Some of these pre-made parts are used, others are created as I make the bracelet to give it balance and more visual appeal. Some parts I make don't fit into the final creation, so into the bag of flowers and leaves they go. It's a very flowing design technique and I never know how the final piece will turn out. Everything I make is completely unique and couldn't be duplicated even if I tried. The bracelet comes with a simple tie so you can secure it firmly around your wrist. I hate it when a bracelet's good side falls to the inside of my arm too. The section that fit over your wrist measure 5" long and 4 " wide from leaf tip to leaf tip. This bracelet should fit nearly everyone. I've ade the ties quite long and you can easily cut them shorter if need be.
These bracelets are made from crochet cotton thread and fasten with a simple button that easily slides through the last loop of the bracelet. Each measures approximately 7" or 17.5 cm in length.
